Asus ROG Ally is a competitor to Steam Deck which is a new handheld gaming console from Steam. Asus ROG Ally was released on 14 June with AMD hardware. This console marks the debut of the AMD Ryzen Z1 APU series, making it the first-ever gaming system to incorporate this advanced processor.

The recently launched Asus ROG Ally handheld gaming device is now up for sale, with a starting price of $699 at Best Buy for the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme Variant. The normal variant will be $100 lower than the Extreme one. The prices may be a little bit higher than the Steam Deck but the features and specifications justify them.

Asus ROG Ally is a full-blown handheld gaming PC that runs Windows 11. It will be available in two variants AMD Ryzen™ Z1 Extreme ( 8 cores and 16 threads ) and AMD Ryzen™ Z1 (6 cores ) both featuring 16 GB LPDDR4 memory and 512 GB Storage. Both variants come with a 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz 7-inch, 500nits display. Equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E helps give players the best experience with zero to no lags. All these features are packed in the light 608 Gms body of the ROG Ally.
